Challenge Electronics Unveils New Surface Mount Speaker Series

Deer Park, NY – Challenge Electronics, a supplier of sounding devices, microphones and receivers, has gone into production on a new surface mount mylar speaker that provides quality tonal performance in a low profile package.

The CSMS20S4 speakers are designed for a wide variety of audible products, particularly those in which real estate is tight. They measure in at 4.7 mm (H) x 20 mm (L) x 20 mm (W). Electronically, the devices rated impedance is 8 ohms and their resonance frequency is 1000 Hz. Maximum power rating is 0.1W. In terms of sound output, the speakers provide 75 dB of sound pressure (+/- 3) at 0.5m at 0.1W. Typical operating temperature is –30 to +80 degrees C.
